I’ve been supplying engagement rings to the world from Canada since 1987. The reason why I’m doing this post is to answer most, if not all of your questions which I’m asked every day about diamonds and engagement rings. I will explain to you the vital importance of why shopping for diamonds in a 1-on-1 environment and why choosing a diamond by visual comparisons is incredibly important as Diamonds are a “blind item”. Most buyers know very little about them. Typically, your only education is what you’ve read online or what you’ve been told by the often uneducated and biased salespeople in retail jewellery stores who are only looking to make a quick sale or comission. I believe that if my clients or potential clients are going to spend thousands of dollars on a diamond ring, I personally owe it to you to educate you. I want you to know everything about your diamond. I want you to know why you chose it after comparing it to others. And finally, I want you to understand the amazing value that you got from me by educating you. There’s no selling involved. Theres only explanation. I don’t tell my clients how much they need to spend. I always ask “How much do you want to spend?” I believe in fulfilling that budget with the biggest and the best diamond or I recommend to decrease your budget by offering you more for less through my special wholesale access. Most businesses up-sell, we actually down-sell. I’d rather see you spend your extra money on your honeymoon!
