Our Visit with the SickKids Foundation
This morning at the Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto, I had the honour of meeting various children fighting cancer. As a parent with healthy children, I acknowledge how blessed I am yet, at the same moment, realize that it could change at any time. In touring the facilities and seeing the massive effort being poured in by highly talented doctors and nurses, I’ve been left deeply humbled and thankful to be able to give to such an incredible cause.
My day-to-day business of designing engagement rings means I am one of the first people involved when a young couple decide to spend the rest of their lives together. Most often the next stage in life is to build a family and have children. We all pray for our children to be healthy but of course that is not always the case. Families who suffer the cruel fate that is an unwell child are incredibly fortunate to have access to a globally renowned medical instution as SickKids Hospital. To keep this instution around for generations to come and ensure that high quality research has a consistent funding basis, National Jewel Creations are proud to donate $50 from the sale of every engagement ring to the SikKids Foundation. We are honoured to be able join in the effort of keeping SickKids Hospital the best hospital in North America by continuously supporting such a great charity.
